We recently spied a new shop along Indian School (east of 24th Street) and just had to stop by.

It's not every day that a vintage and antique clothing, furniture, kitchenware and bric-a-brac shop moves to our hood. In fact, Cheap Thrills used to make its home in the North Valley, where owner Jeanne Wiesly ran it for three years. Their official grand opening at the new location goes down on Sunday, May 16, but it's open for business now.

The years of experience certainly show at this little house-turned-retail space. The place is bursting with some fabulous threads, flashy costume jewelry, funky lamps, a fine collection of vintage Corning Ware and a whole heck of a lot more.

Cheap Thrills, 2540 East Indian School Road, 602-944-2542, www.shopcheapthrills.com. The store's grand opening happens on Sunday, May 16, from 4 to 8 p.m.
