Icey is known for blending elements of Chicago hip house with English break-beat house (a sound that was dubbed “funky breaks”) and was a driving force in Florida’s progressive house and trance scene during the ‘90s. He has even remixed music for electronic-music heavyweights like Groove Armada and Paul Oakenfold.
