Encanto-Palmcroft Home Tour and Street Fair

Mosey south of Thomas Road and west of Seventh Avenue you may notice something unusual happens: The houses suddenly become breathtakingly beautiful. That’s because you’ve entered the Encanto-Palmcroft historic neighborhood. But there’s more to this area than just being really, really, ridiculously good looking. And you can plan on finding that out during the Encanto-Palmcroft Home Tour and Street Fair on Sunday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. After parking at Phoenix College, 1202 West Thomas Road, grab your ticket ($18 in advance, $20 day of), and prepare to learn the history of the homes, details about the architectural style, and maybe even some stories about people who lived there. Plus, enjoy live music, food from local restaurants, and other festivities. For more info, visit
