The setup for the lamest sci-fi joke ever? Nah, it’s merely a sample of the guest star lineup at this weekend’s Official Star Trek Convention at the Sheraton Crescent.
Trek veterans Armin Shimerman (Quark from Deep Space Nine), Jeffrey Combs (Shran from Enterprise), Robert O’Reilly (Gowron from The Next Generation), and other alien all-stars from the long-running sci-fi franchise will beam in to meet and greet with fans. A special effects makeup workshop, costume parade, and a performance by the “Star Trek Rat Pack” will also take place.
