Ballet doesn’t always have to be a black tie affair. This week, Ballet Arizona is bringing back Ballet Under the Stars, an annual community outreach program that seeks to make dance accessible to everyone. Dance aficionados and novices alike can cozy up on a blanket or lawn chair in one of six local parks to enjoy the performances, which will feature both classical and contemporary work. Catch some fresh air along with some of the best dancers in the Valley at one of these lovely Arizona evenings.

This year, Ballet Arizona is presenting six performances of Ballet Under the Stars in six different cities in the greater Phoenix metro area. On Friday, September 19, you can catch the unique experience at Beardsley Park, 12755 Beardsley Road in Sun City West, beginning at 7 p.m. The evening of dance is free and open to the public. For more information, visit www.balletaz.org or call 602-381-1096.
