It wouldn’t be the Fourth of July without all the fireworks, and the Valley will have no shortage of dazzling displays lighting up the skies this summer.

Fireworks shows will occur nightly from Thursday, July 3, to Saturday, July 5, in more than a dozen different cities across metro Phoenix. Most will happen on the holiday itself, with a few lighting things up the day prior.

Looking for the best Independence Day fireworks in Phoenix? We’ve got all the info on the biggest and best displays happening around town. Many will also feature a mix of other things to do besides staring skyward in wonder, including games, food and drink, rides and live music.

Anthem’s Independence Day Celebration

Thursday, July 3
Anthem Community Park, 41703 N. Gavilan Peak Parkway, Anthem
Don’t want to wait until the Fourth to see some fireworks? Anthem’s festivities occur from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on July 3. Expect rides, food vendors, a beer garden, live music, water slides and roaming entertainers. The skyrockets in flight start at 9 p.m., weather permitting. Parking and admission are free.

Celebrate America ’25

Thursday, July 3
Pleasant Harbor at Lake Pleasant, 8708 W. Harbor Blvd., Peoria
The shores of Lake Pleasant will be lit from the glow of exploding skyrockets during this annual blowout from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Highlights include waterslides, kids’ activities, novelty vendors, food trucks and live music. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome. The event starts at 5 p.m. and the fireworks are at 9 p.m. Admission is free and parking passes are $30 to $35 via pleasantharbor.com.

Sparkle in the Square

Thursday, July 3
Litchfield Square Park, 279 La Loma Ave., Litchfield Park
This free celebration from 6 to 9 p.m. will include lawn games, martial arts performances, a "freedom fling" water balloon contest, pie-eating competitions and food trucks. The fireworks get going at 8:30 p.m.

Light Up the Sky Fireworks Event

Thursday, July 3
American Family Fields of Phoenix, 3600 N. 51st Ave.
This free pre-Independence Day warm up from 6:30 to 10 p.m. will offer food trucks, games and entertainment. An awe-inspiring fireworks display goes off at 9:10 p.m.

Arizona Diamondbacks Fireworks Spectacular

Thursday, July 3 and Friday, July 4
Chase Field, 401 E. Jefferson St.
The D-Backs will go all out with Americana in honor of the Fourth of July. Besides serving up such staples as hot dogs, baseball and star-spangled uniforms, the team will host post-game fireworks shows following their games with the San Francisco Giants on July 3 and the Kansas City Royals on July 4. First pitch is at 6:40 p.m. each night. Tickets start at $41.35 via dbacks.com.

Apache Junction 4th of July

Friday, July 4
Superstition Shadows Park, 1091 W. Southern Ave., Apache Junction
The main event of Apache Junction’s annual celebration occurs from 6 to 8:20 p.m. with live music, vendor booths, games and free watermelon. A fireworks show follows at 8:30 p.m. Parking at Apache Junction High School, 2525 S. Ironwood Drive, and other nearby locations is limited and shuttles will be available. See apachejunctionaz.gov for details.

Arizona Celebration of Freedom

Friday, July 4
Mesa Convention Center, 263 N. Center St., Mesa
The massive fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. will be just one of the many spectacles at this annual event. There will also be a superhero stunt show, pro wrestling matches and the “Let Freedom Ring” laser show will occur throughout the evening. Other less adrenaline-filled activities include a naturalization ceremony, live music and history displays. Hours are 6 to 10 p.m. Admission is free.

Avondale’s Light Up The Sky

Friday, July 4
Phoenix Raceway, 7602 Jimmie Johnson Drive, Avondale
Avondale’s annual bash takes over the Phoenix Raceway parking area with tailgating, food trucks, a kids’ zone, exhibitors and live music from The Taide Band at 6:30 p.m.. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the fireworks are at 8:25 p.m. Admission is free.

Buckeye Independence Day Celebration

Friday, July 4
Buckeye Airport, 3000 S. Palo Verde Road, Buckeye
Y’all looking for somewhere to kick back and celebrate the Fourth? This tailgate-like shindig runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and serves up “all-American eats” from food trucks, plus boot-stompin’ country tunes from the Rob West Band and singer-songwriter Evelyn Errante. A drive-in style fireworks show begins around 8:30 p.m. Bring yard games, blankets, chairs and water, but leave the alcohol, glass containers, grills and drones at home. Admission is free.

Chandler’s All-American Bash

Friday, July 4
Dr. A.J. Chandler Park, 178 E. Commonwealth Ave., Chandler
An evening of live music from local band Outside the Line, food and drink vendors, yard games and children’s activities will be offered at Chandler’s annual extravaganza from 7 to 9:30 p.m. If you’re coming for just the fireworks, a 15-minute-long pyrotechnic displays starts at 8:15 p.m. Admission is free.

Fabulous Phoenix 4th

Friday, July 4
Steele Indian School Park, 300 E. Indian School Road
Where’s the biggest fireworks show in the Valley? That’d be at the Fabulous Phoenix 4th. The long-running blowout at Steele Indian School Park packs more pyrotechnic punch than any other Independence Day celebration in Arizona. The family-friendly event from 6 to 10 p.m. will also include live entertainment, a car show, kids and teen zones and an ice cream-eating contest. The fireworks are at 9:15 p.m. Admission is free.

Fourth at the Fountain

Friday, July 4
Fountain Park, 12925 N. Saguaro Blvd., Fountain Hills
Fountain Park will be aglow with color on the Fourth. Its namesake feature will be illuminated with red, white and blue lights while a fireworks show will bloom the skies overhead at 9 p.m. Festivities kick off at 6 p.m. with live music, games and food vendors. Admission is free and chairs, blankets and picnic baskets are permitted.

Goodyear Star Spangled 4th

Friday, July 4
Goodyear Ballpark, 1933 S. Ballpark Way, Goodyear
Goodyear's July 4th won't have fireworks, but will cause the skies overhead to glow during a "stunning" drone show starting at 8:45 p.m. Food, drinks and family friendly activites will start at 6 p.m. Admission is free.

Gilbert 4th of July Celebration

Friday, July 4
Gilbert Regional Park, 3005 E. Queen Creek Road, Gilbert
What’s better than a flurry of skyrockets? How about a synchronized fleet of glowing drones? Gilbert’s free Fourth of July celebration will feature both fireworks and drones, plus food and drink vendors, live music from local band NineBall, and more. Gates are at 5 p.m. The fireworks and drones start at 8:50 p.m. General admission is free and on-site parking is $15.

Peoria's All-American Festival

Friday, July 4
Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Ave., Peoria
Must-see attraction at this annual outdoor party from 5 to 9 p.m. includes BMX performances, carnival-style games, giveaways for the first 5,000 people and music from cover band Saved By the ’90s. Food and drink vendors will be available. General admission is free. Tickets to the Sam Adams Terrace Experience beer garden are $20 and VIP packages with access to air-conditioned areas, private amenities and complimentary food and drinks are $45.

Schnepf Farms’ Hometown 4th

Friday, July 4
Schnepf Farms, 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road, Queen Creek
Small-town charm awaits at this quaint July 4th hootenanny in Queen Creek. Patrons can enjoy live music, food and drink vendors, inflatables, water activities and a fireworks show. Admission is $45.45 per vehicle. An "All American VIP Pass" is $140.45 and includes access to the air-conditioned Big Red Barn, catered dinner, private seating and parking.

Escape the heat at this event from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. that’s largely held inside WestWorld’s air-conditioned north hall and rodeo arena. Indoor activities include bull-riding, medieval sword fights and junior knight training sessions, Scottsdale history displays and a kids’ zone with a snow-filled playland. Feeling competitive? A water balloon-tossing championship, slider-eating contest and games like cakewalks and musical chairs are planned. Head outside for Scottsdale’s largest fireworks display at 9 p.m. General admission tickets are $25 for access to the indoor events or $20 per vehicle for just the fireworks show. Star-Spangled Nights

Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5
Hurricane Harbor Phoenix, 4243 W. Pinnacle Peak Road, Glendale
Hurricane Harbor is staying open late during the holiday weekend for two nights of “breathtaking” fireworks set to a patriotic soundtrack. Catch the show at 8:45 p.m. on July 4 and 5. Daily admission tickets start at $34 per person.

Surprise’s Independence Day

Friday, July 4
Surprise Community Park, 16089 N. Bullard Ave., Surprise
Surprise’s annual fireworks display begins at 8:45 p.m. and can be seen from multiple locations. Head to Surprise Community Park from 6 and 9 p.m. for a mix of food trucks and festivities. Blankets, seating, coolers and water is allowed, but are subject to search. An additional viewing area is available at Mark Coronado Park, 15960 N. Bullard Ave. Admission is free to both parks.

Tempe 4th of July Celebration

Friday, July 4
Tempe Diablo Stadium, 2200 W. Alameda Dr., Tempe
Tempe’s annual Fourth of July celebration has moved to Tempe Diablo Stadium this year, but will be just as much of a spectacle. Expect live music, games, photo ops and a family fun zone from 5 to 10 p.m. with the fireworks starting at 9:15 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the event. Children 12 and under are free.

Tolleson Fourth of July

Friday, July 4
Tolleson Veterans Park, 8601 W. Van Buren St., Tolleson
A spectacular fireworks show will cap off an evening of family friendly festivities at this West Valley celebration from 4 to 9:30 p.m. A mix of live entertainment, games and water slides is planned. Admission is free and so is the watermelon.

Westgate Fireworks Fest

Friday, July 4
Westgate Entertainment District, 6751 N. Sunset Blvd., Glendale
The skies over Westgate will become a dazzling canvas painted with booming bursts of color at its free annual Fireworks Fest. There will be live music and a beer garden in the WaterDance Plaza and airbrush tattoos, a water fun zone and a family stage near Fountain Park starting at 6 p.m. Gather along Sunrise Boulevard for the best views of the fireworks, which kick off at 9 p.m.

W Scottsdale's Firework Night Swim

Friday, July 4
W Scottsdale Hotel, 7277 E. Camelback Road, Scottsdale
The W’s WET Deck will host an evening pool party on Independence Day with DJs, drinks and fireworks going off over the hotel at 9 p.m. The celebration starts at 6 p.m. General admission tickets are $28.09.
