Andrew Dirst is a freelance writer for the Phoenix New Times. He joined New Times in May 2025 and has covered music, arts and culture. He graduated from ASU’s Walter Cronkite School in 2025 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Andrew has previously worked at The Arizona Republic and The State Press, and plans to continue writing and reporting on all things culture.
