Keep Phoenix New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
Payday can’t come soon enough, right? Well, we’re looking out for you. Wednesday, April 29, happens to have two different free and nearly-free events where you can get your grub on.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., carry-out customers at any Phoenix-area Domino’s pizza will get a free order of their new Domino’s BreadBowl Pasta. It’s pretty much just what you’d imagine — pasta baked right into a bread bowl. Anyway, it won’t cost you a cent.
Later, from 5 to 10 p.m., Baskin-Robbins is doing its third annual 31 Cent Scoop Night. This is happening at every one of the Baskin-Robbins locations in the country, so it shouldn’t be too hard to track one down. Depending on which one you visit, there might be local firefighters on hand to scoop up ice cream and collect donations for the National Volunteer Fire Council. Baskin-Robbins has already committed to a $100,000 donation.
