Dinner Lab Pop-Up with Chef Chris McKinley

Dinner Lab returns to Phoenix after its inaugural event in April, this time with chef Chris McKinley at the helm. The theme of the secretive dinner will be “The Revival: Refined Compositions of the Past,” and will include dishes similar to Szechuan-Crusted Tuna Tataki and Short Rib Pastrami. Dinner Lab events are open only to members, but there’s still time to sign up for the membership-based dining company. Dinner will take place during two separate seatings at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., and the location of the dinner will be announced to attendees 24 hours prior to the event. Beer enthusiasts will have a lot to be enthusiastic about this weekend at Scottsdale Beer Palooza, an indoor beer tasting event. From 1 to 6 p.m. at Westworld of Scottsdale ticket holders can enjoy beers from dozens of participating breweries such as Bell’s and Lagunitas, as well as local favorites Grand Canyon, SanTan, and Nimbus. Food items including nachos, burgers, pizza, and fries will also be on hand in abundance. Tickets cost $30 for general admission (includes 20 tasting tickets and a miniature souvenir mug)  or $50 for VIP, and can be purchased online
