Fourth Annual Roosevelt Row Chile Pepper Festival at Downtown Phoenix Public Market

Roosevelt Row’s Chile Pepper Festival returns for a fiery fourth installment this weekend. Hosted by Roosevelt Row CDC and Roosevelt Growhouse, the festival will take place between 4 and 11 p.m. at Downtown Phoenix Public Market. Along with chile pepper dishes prepared by local chefs, the festival will feature onsite chile roasting, cooking demonstrations, live music, salsa dancing, a beer garden presented by Deschutes Brewery, and many more family friendly activities. Admission is free with an RSVP, and tickets should be reserved in advance online. All proceeds from the Chile Pepper Festival will go to support Roosevelt Row CDC. 


Yoga Month Brunch at Salut Kitchen Bar

In honor of Yoga Month, Salut Kitchen Bar is teaming up with Laughing Buddha Yoga to bring local yogis a morning of brunch and free yoga. From 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Laughing Buddha Yoga is offering a free all-levels class with any donations going to supporting Tumbleweed, an organization that offers assistance to homeless teenagers. After class, Salut Kitchen Bar will offer participants 20 percent off brunch, which includes dishes such as Florentine Eggs Benedict and Quinoa Protein Pancakes. National Pancake Day at Over Easy
