According to The Republic, Amy’s Baking Company, the restaurant that rose to infamy on an episode of Kitchen Nightmares, closed this week.

Samy and Amy Bouzaglo confirmed reports earlier this summer that they were in final negotiations to sell the restaurant on 7366 East Shea Boulevard. The Amy’s Baking Company name will likely live on — the couple said they plan to sell desserts online and open an online video-based cooking school.

A 2013 episode of the Fox reality show put the couple and their restaurant in the spotlight. The show depicted them yelling at customers, and host Gordon Ramsay walked out of the restaurant at the end of the episode.

The (not verified) Amy’s Baking Co. Twitter handle also tweeted out a picture a few days ago, hinting the closure.
