On Thursday, the Arizona Restaurant Association — as in, the same folks behind the bi-annual Arizona Restaurant Week — will debut a new event that brings attention to the most important meal of the day, breakfast. Called Arizona Breakfast Weekend, the new four-day event means diners can get special (read: cheaper) breakfast meals at a handful of spots around town.
Arizona Breakfast Weekend runs from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2.
The general idea is similar to Arizona Restaurant Week: Restaurants offer special breakfast menus/dishes at discounted price points — either $7, $15, and $25. Some restaurants are offering dishes, while others are offering food and drink packages. And a handful of restaurants that aren’t open for brunch or breakfast will be serving the Arizona Breakfast Weekend menus during dinner only on Thursday and Friday.
(Honestly, it’s a little difficult to follow who’s offering what when, so we recommend checking the Arizona Breakfast Weekend website for details on each restaurant’s individual offerings.)
