Raymond P. Perry, president and CEO of Arriba Mexican Grill, a local New Mexican-style Mexican food chain with six locations in the Valley, was among four people killed on Saturday when their helicopter crashed into the Verde River on a flight from Sedona to the Scottsdale Airport, the Republic reports.
The Republic reports that Perry, 70, of Phoenix, was identified as the pilot and one of the helicopter’s owners, with the other victims identified as Karen Stinn, 68, of Cave Creek; and Mike Dunaway, 63, and his wife, Linda Dunaway, 64, both of Glendale.
The wreckage, the Republic reports, was spotted on Sunday morning by a private pilot, and, according to Ian Gregor, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration, the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the crash.
