32: Banana Cream Pie from Zinburger
Zinburger, the upbeat wine and burger bar in the Biltmore Fashion Park in Central Phoenix, might be best known for its gourmet burgers, but if you’ve got room for dessert, and have a friend or two in tow, Zinburger’s lesser-known banana cream pie is a sweet treat not to be missed.
Barely able to maintain its triangular shape, this hefty piece of pie arrives oozing fresh banana slices topped with a whipped cream cloud and a criss-cross pattern of caramel in a buttery, crumbly crust.
Wonderfully sweet and fresh, it’s a decidedly cool treat for a hot summer day or the perfect ending to a tasty lunch.
