Nope. Luc’s is no more.

In a little more than a year in business, the swanky El Pedregal restaurant went through four chefs and a couple of concept switcheroos, from Asian fusion to contemporary American.

Why did it close? Was it because nobody could get “Luc’s sucks” out of their head after Nikki Buchanan ripped them a new one in Phoenix Magazine, which axed her soon after? (And ran an ad for El Pedregal the very next issue!)

Better to get a total overhaul, I say. After the new year, the place will reopen as Bistro G. No word yet on the menu or chef. — Michele Laudig
