Steakhouse fans, we’ve got some bad news: BLT Steak at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort and Spa in Scottsdale is set to close on Friday, September 9, after eight years in business.
BLT Steak is a high-end American steakhouse chain with locations throughout the country. The Scottsdale location will be replaced with a new restaurant that’s slated to open in October. According to a press release, the new restaurant at the Scottsdale resort will serve cuisine that “celebrates the essence of the Southwest.”
Here’s the official statement from the restaurant:
“On September 9, 2016, BLT Steak, Scottsdale, at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort + Spa will close its doors after eight successful years. We encourage local diners to enjoy this wonderful restaurant before the 9th and get their fill of the brand’s famous Popovers and prime, dry-aged steaks one more time in the Scottsdale location. BLT Steak will continue to operate in its other locations worldwide, including New York, Las Vegas, and Washington, D.C.”
