There aren’t too many celebrities in the world of ice cream except the two guys we’re fond of storing in the freezer. Well, move over, Ben & Jerry, because Jeni Britton Baeur of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is the next big thing. Don’t believe us? This year, she won a James Beard Award for her cookbook, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams at Home.

This weekend, you have a chance to get a signed copy of her award-winning book. Four chances, to be exact. Jeni will be appearing at the AJ’s Fine Foods stores in Phoenix and Chandler on Saturday, and on Sunday she’ll be visiting two Scottsdale locations. And yes, you will also get a chance to taste her incredible ice creams. The entire holiday collection of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams will be featured at the book signings, including Boozy Eggnog, Dark Chocolate Peppermint, Goat Cheese with Cognac Figs, and Sweet Potato with Torched Marshmallows.
Not only do visitors get to sample the treats, but those waiting in line to get their cookbooks signed will also get to see Jeni demo a special holiday sundae. It’s made with her pumpkin five-spice ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce, making it an excellent dessert to dish up at your Thanksgiving celebration.
