The Lagunitas Brewing Co. Web site states that the “Lagunitas Brewing Company is emerging as a battle-tested brewery capable of making great beer out of goat’s milk, brambles, and asphalt on the surface of the Moon, if need be.”

Let’s hope that it doesn’t come to that. We’re fairly sure that none of those ingredients nor altered gravity in the cold deadness of space is necessary for making their Cappuccino Stout.

Do we like coffee? Yes we do. Do we like beer? As a famous politician who may be on her way to work for Fox news once said, you bet’cha. But what about Lagunitas’ seasonal cappuccino stout sets it apart?

We got ours: at Taste of Tops where it is on tap. No guarantee that it will be there if you stop by. We’re planning to go back for a pint as soon as we’re finished writing this.

Also of note: Lagunitas started releasing limited edition beers to mark the 40th anniversary of each album by Frank Zappa. Here’s hoping the beer that commemorates Strictly Commercial isn’t.

Verdict: Please go drink this now. If you do and you don’t like it, please tell us why. We’re always interested in hearing about things we’re sure are impossible.
