Juicy barbecue, ice cold beer, and a good cause? This one’s a no-brainer, or, in the case of Bryan’s Black Mountain Barbecue in Cave Creek, a Beer for Brains fundraiser.
At 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 12, Bryan’s Black Mountain Barbecue will be pairing up ‘que and beer with proceeds going to the Beer for Brains Foundation, a non-profit, beer industry-related charity based in Peoria, Arizona, that supports brain cancer research and treatment options at the Barrow Brain Tumor Research Center (BTRC) in Phoenix, Arizona.
The four-course, BBQ-centric menu (think smoked sausage, brisket, and stew) will be paired with eight beers from Dogfish Head and Maui Brewing Co.

4th Course: Cardamom Snicker doodle Blackberry and Desert Honey Ice cream
Paired with Maui Brewing Co. Coconut Porter vs. Maui Brewing Co. Manu Wheat
The cost of the Beer for Brains event at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 12, at Bryan’s Black Mountain Barbecue, is $60 per person. Call 480-575-7155 for reservations.
