Looks like The Phoenix Cheesesteak Company, a mobile eatery serving up rib-eye cheesesteaks with a twist, is making the leap from four wheels to four walls at 2605 North 7th Street in Central Phoenix (northeast corner of 7th Street and Virginia).

Unfortunately, that address used to be the home of Calabria Italian Kitchen, the casual lunch spot from ex-East Coaster, Carlo Capogreco. The owner and chef moved his business there in May of last year after leaving the renovated, historic Gold Spot building at Roosevelt and 3rd Avenue in September of 2009 (Capogreco also updated the restaurant’s name from Calabria Italian Grocer & Deli to Calabria Italian Kitchen.). When I talked to Capogreco in July, he told me business was not good.

With no announced grand opening date yet, The Phoenix Cheesesteak Company did post a menu on its new location’s window. Keep reading to see what’s in store.
