With the flood of new restaurants opening up in Phoenix, restaurateurs Robert and Linda Gabrick of Carefree Station, the upscale, North Valley eatery featuring a massive patio and American-Southwestern cuisine (including the hell-hot Desert Tears), are planning to take their next venture elsewhere.

Elsewhere as in Prescott.

The Phoenix Business Journal reports the Gabricks are opening a second location of their family-owned restaurant, called Prescott Station, at 200 East Gurley Street, near the Prescott Town Square.

The Journal goes on to say that Carefree Station sous chef Matt Smith will be Prescott Station’s executive chef and that the menu will reflect the same offerings as the original location.
