We broke the bad news last week — Old Town Scottsdale’s Sola Coffee Bar had called it a day, turned off the espresso machines, shut their doors — for good. Then we told you the good news — – it’s now the next Cartel Coffee Lab. After the Cartel folks caught wind of Sola’s impending demise, they swooped in and saved the day. Hooray! Celebrate Cartel’s fourth location tomorrow night at their grand opening party. Starting at 7 p.m., it’s free beer, snacks from the Cartel kitchen and, of course, free Cartel coffee for everyone who stops by to check out the new place. Seriously, free coffee and beer — why would you miss this?
Ghira-Brownies
Could anything possibly be more decadent then brownies topped with squares of chocolate raspberry Ghirardelli? Actually, yes. Take those same squares and bake them in the middle of said brownie. We’re not joking. Check out Gingerbread Bagel’s recipe complete with photos here.
