Cave Creek Tap Haus, the new restaurant from Mark Bradshaw and partner Jim O’Toole, is now open despite an explosion from a pressure cooker that happened during its soft opening last week, sending two employees to the hospital.
Bradshaw, who also owns the famous biker pub and grub stop The Hideaway Grill, told the Republic that the restaurant has insurance, but that he will hold a fundraiser to cover any costs the injured workers may have incurred.
Located at 6900 East Cave Creek Road (formerly Hammerhead Jack’s), the 8,000 square foot venue Bradshaw describes as, “old Europe meets New Orleans,” will feature 50 local beers on tap, 16 TVs, a lunch and dinner menu with items such as steaks, seafood, and pasta, live music, a surf ‘n’ turf happy hour, and a patio with a view of Black Mountain.
