Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
He’s outta there.
Regions Bistro & Bar was about to open its first location in Scottsdale last week when executive chef Don Nason threw in the towel. A PR rep for the restaurant told New Times he had some “things come up”; rumor has it that Nason and the restaurant’s GM both walked out over money issues 30 minutes before the first dinner service. No news yet on who will be Nason’s replacement.
Is Nason heading back to New Mexico? Who knows. But I found an interesting tidbit about the guy online, about how he supposedly used to run a silent kitchen where he’s the only one allowed to talk.
Really? Shut up!
