Chef Chat this week brought you to Mill Ave’s new addition, Ncounter, where we talked to Chef Dean Delgado about everything from his start in the culinary world to what he thinks about chicken and waffles.

Today he’ll share his recipe for bananas foster sauce.

“This sauce goes on a bananas foster French toast and with this particular recipe, I like putting it in a ice bath to let it cool rapidly because if you don’t it will break on you.”

1 lb butter
¾ cup triple sec
2 tbsp cinnamon
1 ¼ cups water
