The filmmaker and executive director/co-founder of the Phoenix Film Festival hosts the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival, October 14-17 at MADCAP Theaters.

What’d you eat for dinner last night? Homemade spaghetti with turkey meatballs and garlic bread. Thanks, honey!

Favorite food: Pizza–too many low-budget film shoots where that was all we could afford–with special love to Hungry Howie’s.

Least favorite food: Calamari–I’m allergic and get hives.

Favorite dessert: Anything with chocolate. Do I sound like a chick?

Favorite local restaurant and meal to order there: Is Fatburger
local? How about the Harkins concession stand? Popcorn entree with
side of Buncha Crunch.

Favorite local bar and cocktail to order there: Whatever is close with a happy hour. God, I am so cheap!

Related

Favorite thing to cook at home: Homemade pizza. God, I am so boring.

Favorite memory involving food: There was this one time with my wife and chocolate syrup…now we’re talking!

Recipe or food tip to share: Tip at least 15 percent, even if they suck. Also, whenever you go somewhere like
Pei-Wei where you wait in line and then sit, first put your crap down
and save a seat, then go wait in line. I’ve seen people not get seats,
and they lose it.
