Forget about New Kids on the Block. My obsession as an eighth grader was Andy Warhol.

His art, the fashionable people in his world, Nico, Edie, the Velvets, Interview Magazine . . . it was all impossibly glamorous to little me, an image of New York City life and the art scene that shaped my musical tastes and personal aesthetic for years to come. I read his biography for a book report, visited the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, and promptly removed the lace canopy from my childhood bed to cover the whole thing in tinfoil, since I wasn’t able to spraypaint my walls silver.

Now I can geek out on a little bit of Andy at Christopher’s and Crush Lounge, where chef Christopher Gross has brought in some of the limited-edition Andy Warhol Dom Perignon, available by the glass.
