Scratch one less Scottsdale restaurant off your list for sushi and Chinese food. Fusion Sushi China Bistro has shuttered.
Opened in September of 2008 at Frank Lloyd Wright and Pima roads, Fusion Sushi China Bistro offered a classic selection of traditional Chinese fare (think walnut shrimp, sea bass with ginger-garlic sauce, and chicken fried rice) and sushi for diners in the north Scottsdale neighborhood.
And Fusion Sushi’s owner was known for another restaurant as well.
The owner of Fusion Sushi China Bistro is Kin Chan, who the Republic reports, “has a good track record with top-notch Chinese food,” and who was also the owner of the defunct Eddie Chan’s Asian Bistro at Grayhawk.
