Mamma Mia, the family owned pizza joint with two locations on Indian School Road, has shuttered one of them.

The location at 806 East Indian School Road (8th Street and Indian School Road in Central Phoenix) closed a few weeks ago. Opened shortly after the pizzeria’s original restaurant was established in 2003, the second Mamma Mia saw many changes — including the shuttering and re-opening of next-door-burger-joint-neighbor Two Hippies earlier this year.

Founded in New Jersey in 1980, the first Mamma Mia opened seven years ago at 3937 East Indian School Road (40th Street and Indian School Road in) in the Arcadia neighborhood.

The original location of Mamma Mia remains open for business.
