In the latest food truck news: Short Leash is moving into a brick-and-mortar location (and keeping its truck), you can buy the former Epic Hot Dogs mobile kitchen on eBay, and now, Mike’s Kitchen & BBQ is pulling into the parking lot — permanently.

The food truck got rolling in the spring of 2011, traveling to spots like the Surprise farmers market and cities such as Peoria, Glendale, Phoenix, and Mesa to sell barbecue-centric dishes such as pork and brisket hash and eggs, pulled pork, and barbecue sandwiches.

A farewell post on the company’s Facebook page had this to say:
