In October, it was The Sweetness. Then, in early November, family-owned treat shop Cookiez on Mill. Now, the ice cream gods of Mill Avenue have claimed their third frozen victim of the year: Red Mango

The Dallas-based frozen yogurt and smoothie shop, with over 190 locations nationwide, opened its Tempe store last summer — the same year Zagat named the brand as the number one chain in America for smoothies and frozen yogurt.
Red Mango is most known for its all-natural, nonfat frozen yogurt in unique flavors such as pomegranate and Madagascar vanilla as well as seasonal creations like cinnamon apple pie and spiced brown sugar. Other items include fresh fruit smoothies, made-to-order fruit parfaits, and probiotic iced teas.
Still have a hankerin’? The next closest Red Mango (for now) is located at the Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park in the Cabot Commerce Center at 9040 West Larkspur Drive, Peoria.
