For beer aficionado Rob Sizemore, an obsession with suds turned into to a homebrewing hobby, which eventually led to proper training with the American Brewers Guild. Now he’s working on opening his own microbrewery in Tempe, Sleepy Dog Saloon & Brewery, sometime this fall.
Customers can expect Sizemore’s “Flying 7” beers on tap at all times: a blonde or pilsner, IPA, pale ale, stout, hefeweizen, amber, and porter. Rotating brews will include Irish red ale, Scottish strong ale, and pumpkin hefeweizen.
Sleepy Dog will also serve simple bar foods like hot dogs and chili dogs, nachos, and popcorn.
The brewery will be located at 1920 E. University in Tempe.
