If you’ve been on Facebook lately you might have noticed a few of your friends have “liked” a page called “Crock Pot Girls.” I clicked “like” for kicks to see what kind of recipes soccer moms are into these days.

Apparently, I’m not the only one. By a longshot.

Apparently some friends started a Facebook page to share some recipes with friends and since they started it August 19th, 2011 – that’s 2 weeks ago, folks. They have over 1 million “likes.” I’m not kidding.

As I write this, their Facebook page says 1,027,848. That’s insane.

$30,000

My husband thought they might have something to do with sexy ladies holding slow cookers in strategic locations. So far, that’s not the case but I wouldn’t be surprised with the kind of income and influence these friends might see in the months to follow.

They’ve since slapped together a webpage: http://crockpotgirls.com/.

Note to self: Develop a crock pot webpage/cookbook and launch it at the beginning of school/soccer season. This story is amazing.
