Since it opened earlier this month, Crudo, chef Cullen Campbell’s establishment serving inventive raw seafood, handmade pasta dishes, and signature mozzarella, has been waiting on the completion of its bar area to give guests the total restaurant package.
But starting today, Crudo fans wanting a libation or two before dinner or simply a place to pop by for a drink and some nibbles, can enjoy a new happy hour and signature cocktails at its now-opened bar courtesy of owner and bartender, Micah Olson, formerly of Merc Bar.
Crudo’s happy hour will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and feature $5 tap wine and bites like $5 mozzarella offerings (Campbell makes about half of them in-house).
Olson also has come up with two new signature cocktails, inspired by local ingredients: the Modest Monk featuring Alexander Grappa, housemade honeydew syrup, basil, green chartreuse, and fresh lime juice; and the Daring Dutchman with Bols Genever, housemade apricot syrup, mascarpone, fresh lemon, and fennel pollen.
