Yesterday we met Dave Thorfinnson of Tap’s Cuisine and Bar, the man with a nickname fit for a Viking and a golf-induced sunburn on his cheeks (typical to the Litchfield Park region).

Today he shares his recipe for Thor’s Hammer, a potent mix of rum, peach schnapps, and a last ingredient (usually Jagermeister, sometimes Goldschläger) that is generally up to his discretion. Sounds strikingly scary. And delicious.

(Recipe after the jump)

The recipe
3 ounce Malibu Rum
2 ounce peach schnapps
1 ounce Jagermeister, Goldschläger, or whatever Thorfinnson feels like

How to make it
Mix ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Pour into a large shot glass. Beware of this drink’s deliciously smooth properties — and try to resist wearing a horned viking helmet while calling yourself the god of thunder.
