Delice Bistro: Late-Night Pastry Shop, Restaurant Now Open on Mill Avenue in Tempe

Heads up, Tempe night owls and bar-goers. There’s a new dining option located off Mill Avenue that’s going to be serving pastries, crepes, and more until 2:30 a.m. on weekends.

The restaurant and bakery called Delice Bistro opened Thursday at 690 South Mill Avenue, at Centerpoint on Mill.

From 7 to 11 a.m. Delice serves a breakfast menu with options such as a omelets, croissant eggs benedict, breakfast sandwiches, and croissant French toast. At lunch time, your dining choices expand to include quiches, crepes, panini, pastas, salads, and both hot and cold sandwiches. Look for dishes such as a Smoked Salmon Tartine sandwich, Basil Pesto pasta, and a Rosemary Chicken panino.

Sugar lovers will like to hear about the sweet offerings including chocolate fondue, sweet crepes, and a tempting selection of pasties. The baked offerings include delicate sugar cookies, fruit danishes, macarons, and more.

Delice is also baking bread in house and serving hand-dipped chocolates.

A selection of coffee and espresso drinks are available, along with teas (hot and iced) and both hot and iced chocolate. Juices will be available soon.

The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weeknights, but will be staying open until 2:30 a.m. to take advantage of Mill Avenue bar-goers with a need for something sweet (and not liquid) to cap off their night. For now the restaurant and bakery does not validate for the Centerpoint parking garage, but should be able to do so starting October 1.
