Independent Journalism in Phoenix Needs You
We need to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
Calling all social butterflies, ladies – and dudes who lunch, and garden enthusiasts, this weekend the Desert Botanical Gardens will kick off the return of their popular butterfly exhibit with several fun dining events.
Designed to be a family oriented event, Breakfast with the the Butterflies includes a buffet brunch menu of eggs and bacon, plus kiddie-friendly cereals and fruits, mini muffins, and coffee for the grown-ups.
The breakfast runs both mornings on Saturday March 6th and Sunday March 7th. The ticket also includes admission to the butterfly exhibit, children activities, and a set of wings to take home.
If you’d rather soak in the scenery without the short set, this year, DBG has added an all new adults only, lunch event.
The Spring Butterfly Luncheon is for grown-ups only and runs from 12:30 – 2:30 on Sunday, March 7th. The ticket includes a spring-inspired lunch menu of baked lemon chicken, a wild mushroom tortellini station, and a selection of fresh salads and cheeses.
Guests can sip lemonade and relax over lunch with live music and an eco-entertainment presentation. Of course, tickets also include admission to the butterfly garden.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Check the Desert Botanical Gardens website for pricing and additional information on these events.
