Now Governor Jan Brewer is helping to push the same message as part of a statewide campaign to “kick-start the economy” through dining out at local restaurants.
Dine4AZ, launched today by Shamrock Foods, got props from the governor, the Arizona Restaurant Association, and state tourism officials, who say that a boost for the restaurant industry will help lift Arizona out of recession. It’s eating our way to prosperity, so to speak.
Considering how many restaurants have closed in recent months due to brutally slow business, we think they’re on to something here.
