If you’re like us, you’re a little sick of having to ask for Midori sour’s and pineapple juice/grenadine combos if we’re craving something sweet and fun at the bars.
And, not to mention, it’s a little hard to precariously balance a martini glass while we’re trying to cut it up on the dance floor. Beer drinkers are oh-so-much-luckier when it comes to convenient cocktail options.
Now there’s a new type of cocktail aimed at us, called Dirty Blonde Cocktails. The drinks are single-serving, flavor-infused champagne beverages, with flavors such as Sparkling Mojito, Raspberry Flirtini, Peach Passion Bellini and Citrus Mimosa. The flavors are subtle, but the drinks are definitely sweeter than straight-up champagne.
They’re typically served directly in the bottle, paired with a coloful straw that makes sipping and dancing easy.

So far, they’re available at Scottsdale’s American Junkie, Dirty Pretty and Pussycat Lounge, as well as Zuma Grill and Taste of Tops in Tempe–bars specifically chosen because they have plenty of the 21-30-year-old females the drink targets. Cream Stereo Lounge also carries the cocktail and offers it on special Thursday nights for $6 between 9-11 p.m. ($8 regular.)
It’s also sold in four-packs at beverage suppliers such as Total Wine, Fry’s Marketplace, BevMo!, Tops Liquors and Sun Devil Liquors, typically retailing in the $11.99 area.
The company was founded in Manhattan, N.Y., but Dirty Blonde cocktails are currently only available in Arizona and California bars and stores, as well as online on ClubBev! For more info, check out www.dirtyblondecocktails.com.
