The incessant coverage of Michael Jackson’s death and memorial service has reached new heights — now even fast-food chains are cashing in on the action.
Carl’s Jr. fast food stores in Arizona are giving out free soda to Michael Jackson impersonators through tomorrow. No joke. So if you’ve been itching to dig out the old white gloves and tight leather pants, today might be your day.
“Moonwalk down to your local Carl’s Jr. to pay tribute to the King of Pop, join other supporters, dance, cool off in the summer heat, and enjoy some refreshing Carl’s Jr. food and beverages,” said Arizona marketing director Margaret LeVecke in a press release.
The promotion started Tuesday, and will end tomorrow. Only one soda per King.
