Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?
Empty Bowls This Wednesday, October 18th, from 11 till 3 p.m. or 5 to 8 p.m. Mesa Community College will be hosting their annual Empty Bowls Charity Event. In rememberance of World Hunger Day, check out more then 3,000 hand crafted bowls and for $10 you can snag your own and enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread. Soup will be provided by several restaurants including Pita Jungle and the Alpine Bread Company. All proceeds will benefit Paz de Cristo who helps feed the hungry every night by serving evening meals and delivering food boxes. Click here for more info.

We really can’t get enough of how pretty and easy these Apples came out. They will be the hit of any fall party. We’re planning on topping ours with crumbled bacon and chocolate. Yum!
