A new build-your-own pizza and salad concept has planted its pepperoni in the Valley.

Called Fired Pie, the fast-casual local restaurant chain comes courtesy of Fred Morgan, Rico Cuomo, and Doug Doyle, three restaurant industry vets who, according to FastCasual.com, worked together for more than 15 years at California Pizza Kitchen (most recently, Morgan and Doyle were with Oregano’s Pizza Bistro).

Fired Pie currently has two locations in Phoenix: at the Deer Valley Towne Center, which opened in July, and at the Park Central Mall, which opened last weekend. A third location, in Chandler, is coming soon.

Here’s what pizza fans can expect.

Fired Pie lets guests choose their own dough, sauce, and toppings (over 30 of them) for 11-inch custom pizzas with a price tag of $7.75. Build-your-own salads are offered as well, and for the same price. And if you’d rather not go the custom route, you can select one of their signature pizza or salad creations.

Local craft beers, wine, and a Bellini cocktail are also available.

“A fresh-made pizza in four minutes,” Cuomo tells FastCasual.com. “We are the Chipotle of pizza and salad.”
