If Sens Asian Tapas and Sake Bar was going for an authentic Japanese bar experience, they definitely gave it to their patrons on opening night. Guests were packed tighter than a Tokyo subway during rush hour in the bar located on N. 1st street Downtown.

As patrons plied themselves with sake samples (like the ultra smooth Tensai variety) waitresses distributed orders of spring rolls and fried tofu. See the full [Sens menu] for yourself.

Sure, the place was tight, but so was the music and the atmosphere. If Sens keeps this up Downtown may have another night spot worth keeping an eye on.
