The Folgers coffee jingle? Yeah, we know it. But unlike a Mesa man, we didn’t rewrite it in a slick R&B style that made us one of five finalists in a contest that includes a trip to New York City, a live audition in front of former American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi, and chance to score $25,000.

The Mesa music man is Dorrell E. (pictured at right), also known as Young Rell or Young Tower per his YouTube videos.

The grand prize winner will be announced on Thursday, June 16, and will receive $25,000, the chance to appear in a future Folgers commercial (PRACTICE SIPPING AND SMILING, YO!), and a possible music mentoring session from Kara DioGuardi.
