Today is the first Wacky Wine Wednesday event at Fred’s, the upscale department store’s chic in-house restaurant.
Every Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m., all bottles of wine are half off. It’s a good excuse to do happy hour here, and it’s certainly a fine reason to linger over dinner — maybe a plate of pasta or some seafood.
After you’ve had some bargain vino, just think of all the shopping opportunities waiting just outside . . .
