If you can’t stand the heat — get in the kitchen. On Thursday, June 13 at 6 p.m. in the lounge at Crescent Ballroom in downtown Phoenix, Chow Bella presents our third public reading: deep-fried tales of summer, food and heat from some of our favorite local writers.

The Fried lineup includes: Cynthia Clark Harvey, Troy Farah, JK Grence, Katie Johnson, Tania Katan, Elizabeth Naranjo, Julie Peterson, Eric Schaefer, Deborah Sussman, Kathy West, and Amy Young.

As always, the bar will be open and serving up cocktails and food. 308 North Second Avenue.
