Film: Skinny Popcorn
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $17,250 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. We wanted to save our carbs for the booze, so we went with this recipe for Skinny Popcorn. We used canola oil rather than the diet products they mention, and we cut the amount by half. We also sprinkled ours with lemon sea salt and minced parsley.
Gin Martini
Ahh, yes, the Gin Martini, a good use of carbs and a classic Prohibition drink. We found a website that gives a calorie breakdown of a Gin Martini. While garnishing with a lemon twist may be less calories, we adore it with a Blue Cheese Stuffed Olive. Click here for instructions.
