$15,000

In an open letter to customers and friends, Radda Caffe-Bar owner Lori Hassler announced that her Scottsdale restaurant is “just another casualty of 2008.”

Yep, Radda’s about to close, although thankfully it’s not going to be an immediate departure.

“I’m calling it April 26th, and decided to tell people the score instead of just disappear,” she told me this morning. “I’d love to see as many people again as I can, it’s the end of an era for me. It sure feels like more than four years.”

New Times thinks Radda’s rad (we’ve given it two Best Ofs), and we’ll surely miss it. Hopefully everyone who agrees will get to fill up on its tasty Italian cooking before the final farewell.
