Those who enjoy an island-style eat or rum-filled tropical cocktail at Hula’s Modern Tiki, the restaurant just a few city blocks from the light-rail stop at Central Avenue and Camelback Road, now have a new way to get cool besides striking a pose on Hula’s inviting patio.
Twirl Frozen Yogurt, the new shop of cold sweet treats from Hula’s owner Dana Mule and his partners, is now open. Located in the same shopping center as the restaurant, Twirl tasters can look for flavors that may include creations like kiwi strawberry, cake batter, New York cheesecake, oatmeal cookie, and pomegranate raspberry sprinkled with toppings of their choosing. Non-fat, non-dairy, and sugar-free options are available.
But the coolest thing about Twirl might not be the fro-yo — it may just be the digs. TCBY never looked like this.
