This summer, north Valley residents in search of Italian flavor without the guilt may want to get into the kitchen — you know, the thin Italian one.
The Skinny Italian Kitchen, a new concept from Mancuso Restaurants Inc. (led by New York native and longtime Valley restaurateur Bobby Mancuso, who also owns Bobby’s Restaurant and Jazz Lounge) is set to open in a 3,000 square-foot space this summer at CityCenter of CityNorth, adjacent to Blue Martini on the south side of High Street and 54th Street.
Open for lunch and dinner, the menu will feature traditional Italian fare with a healthy twist and will include vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options as well.
“We understand it is difficult to find healthy, delicious meals to fit today’s budgets,” says Mancuso. “The Skinny Italian’s menu will be full of flavor, yet light on your wallet and waistline so guests won’t feel guilty returning again and again to satisfy their need for authentic Italian cuisine.”
